Etiquette manners are still in style

Teachers and Educators

Whether or not you use a formal curriculum, please take advantage of our BASIC TABLE MANNERS DVD.

Teachers are now taking etiquette and good old-fashioned manners off the “back burner,” and putting them up front, where they belong. Good etiquette is important—it is not an option, it is in a state of emergency.

Basic Table Manners will help every student learn Social Etiquette and Table Manners. Students can excel academically, become proficient in their chosen field, and have much to offer. They may be incredibly intelligent, hard-working, and “know their stuff”–but if they don’t know how to behave in a business setting or a social situation, or if they don’t know which fork to use at a formal dinner, they will always be at a severe disadvantage.

Etiquette, in general, and Dining Etiquette, in particular, are forgotten arts in our Urban Environment. But they are definitely not forgotten in many privately funded middle schools, high schools, and universities, all of which offer courses of the type I am proposing. The students in these elite schools will go out into the “real world” confident that they know how to behave at a family or social function, or while dining with friends or business associates.

Our kids can too…and they have to be taught now. We have developed a comprehensive program that will teach our young people dining etiquette, social etiquette, and just plan old “good manners.” We have successfully taught these courses at several private schools. Now we would like to offer it to your school, where it will do the most good.
